Im a Vikings fan so this thread caught my eye as a passerby. I don't think Vikings deserved to be laughed at the way they have been. People forget that Seattle has a losing record in cold games like this 2-8 under Carroll I believe. Also to people that say "Oh Russell Wilson played in Wisconsin, he's cold resilient!" No, no he's not. He played in Madison at Camp Randall which is nothing compared to Gopher Stadium or Lambeau. Seahawks also didn't face the fully equiped Vikings the last go around. This defense is scary good and it may come down to a battle of Special Teams. Patterson vs Lockett. Lockett of course is a special teams hero, so they have to contain him to have a shot to win this game.

I've always had a soft spot for the Vikings but AP is too scummy to like. Go Hawks!

Pretty much. I feel bad for actual fans of the team who have to try and like him.

And call me stupid but don't the Vikings play indoors? Why is everyone talking about the cold?

Dude you don't remember the Metrodome collapsing due to poor architecture and the weight of the snow?

Shit man that would've been one of the biggest sports stories ever if it had happened during a game.

They've been sharing an outdoor field with The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers since it happened.

Well since they like playing there so much and have never won a Super Bowl maybe they should join the Big 10 and see how they do on the college circuit.

I don't know, 4th quarter just started so the Peacocks will probably wake up now.

If they weren't in the NFC North, I might feel the same way about the Vikings... But after Favre went there and having to hear the fans gloat, and then promptly eat their words the next season, I've been so-so..

I'd rather see MN do well than Chicago or Detroit, but I'm not quite there yet.. And will likely never be unless they go to another divisin, but that wouldn't happen.

If I had to choose another team all over again and had to do it from scratch, with GB not existing, I'd likely pick MN.. For whatever that's worth.

(or Buffalo for AFC)

They'll be contenders for awhile now, I'm confident in saying that.. And that's actually OK with me.

You can have a separate AFC team. I have one in the NFC.

Yes I enjoy the Ravens in the AFC for well over a decade now.
