Brown Rice Flour - Alternatives

Hello all

I cant seem to find brown rice flour anywhere where I live. I am growing ivitro, are there are alternatives?

oh and alterinives suck you cant be exact with like millet flour and such you can do WBS which is the best. I can explain in detail what to do. But if you dont have pc you cant do WBS I am going to start to trade filter patch bags with sterilized WBS if you would be interested

I know millet flour turns to glue so dont use that. WBS is the way to go and I have never had a contam so if you wanna trade or bye some I am really reasonable. Just pm me

I don't know man, I think brf is sticker than millet flour, because, well, rice is sticky!

just buy brown rice from a healt food store or probably any major grocery, buy a blender, and blend it. Nothing could be easier. On scale of 1-10 its a .2

Youll have faster colonization too  :eyemouth:

yeah br from the supermarket works fine. Doesn't even have to be organic.

A guy I know will try whole wheat flour and rye flour next time he screws with cakes just to see the effect . www.fungifun.org/pf/pf_en.htm
says that both will work well .

I tried to use whole wheat flour from the store and got a batch of glue where using ground up brown rice made a fluffy substrate.

Buy brown rice and run it through a coffe grinder ($10-$15.00)or do the same with rye or buy rye flour.

my first grow was not organic, and it grew like a mutha fuka! I decided to go for organic and it seems to be doing great, but i doubt much greator...

If you want to use organic try Ebay, the shipping is high but if your like me and cant find it... a few bucks wont matter..
