I think you need to take a look at whether the things your tell yourself are actually true. If it would devastate your "soulmate", how could you even possibly risk it for random slut sex? I don't think you are being honest with yourself.

Probably something to do with you upbringing. Either your parents or role models growing up made you think this is ok, which is really your choice to make if it is or isn't, but from the outside it shows a lack of integrity and is indicative of poor character.

If you cared you could seek counseling, but I think the problem is that you don't care and are only going to regret living a double life behind others' backs when it all comes crashing down around you.
