Ok, I went to that PF guy's site and I read how he was investigated and subsequently indicted for conspiracy to manufacture and distribute psylocibin.
So I have a question for all you spore vendors, the sporeworks people, ralphster, ect. Doesn't it worry you that it is possible at any time for bored assistant prosectors at the department of justice to fabricate a case and take you down? Does this worry you at all? Given, that McPherson didn't actually serve prison time because of this, but I know from experience that probation is no fun and plus he had to put forth a shitload of forfeitures.

McPherson was growing shrooms in the same spot.. These guys are probably smarter about it and have taken precautions to make sure that even if someone came and searched all their shit it would be legal.. Considering spores are legal..
For instance I believe that if McPherson wasn't growing in his house he could not have gotten in trouble.. So all you would need to make this work is a safe house for growing..
Thats what I've gathered anyway, I'm not positive..

Mr. McPherson was providing Psilocybian spore samples with the sole intention to cultivate them and therefore produce an illegal and controlled substance here in the USA. He even provided explicit instructions for doing so on his site, and for a fee he printed them out for you and included them in the box. This is what led to his conspiracy charge, all other issues related to the growing operation found at his house put aside.
The vendors here, Sporeworks especially, provide their Psilocybian spore samples expressly for the purpose of Microscopy. Our samples are even clearly marked, labeled, and provided as Microscopy Kits. We do not address any cultivation related issues with these types of samples and certainly do not encourage our customers to do so.
It is this fundamental differnce that sets us apart. Sporeworks is also engaged in the sale of many exotic edible and gourmet mushrooms cultures, edible and medicinal mushroom grow kits, basic laboratory and mycolgoical supplies, and many other misc items. Our spores for microscopy sample represnets just a small portion of our overall business. Mr. McPherson's entire business was engaged in the sale of Psilocybian spore samples expressly for the purpose of manufacturing an illegal drug.
I hope this may shed some light on your concerns.

Plus Mr McPherson really didn't think he had anything to worry about. The rest of us are smarter then that and have attornies of retainers.
Best time to research attornies is when you don't need one NOW.
