significant brain damage
    #2214220 - 01/02/04 12:19 AM (20 years, 1 month ago)

I have really bad brain damage from years of drug use (both illicit and medicinal). The meds I've been on have only have made things far worse and I'm forced to be on them or I get kicked out of the house. I'm on the verge of being permanently psychotic and the meds don't even work anymore. I can't believe how fucked up I am. I must have been a serial killer in a past life to deserve this. Is there any hope? Everyone says that brain damage doesn't ever go away. Am I going to be the next ozzy or will I recover? I'm only 20 years old and there's still a lot of time left to be lived. I can't live like this any longer. I feel like an old man both physically and mentally.

If I had my psychology degree now, I would love to assess you. =\ I think you should go to your doctor and tell them what you are feeling.. if they don't take it into consideration, get a second opinion. Forcing people to take medication when it's harming them is wrong, imo.

Check a few docs!
I dont know if this is right , but as far as Ive heared of america (if you live there) they tend to love pills for soothing anything.
