Sup everyone? I'm just chillin. Super hot day at work. It must have been about a hundred. Now I'm chillin with a little weed and beer. Gotta get up early and help set up for our big dojo picnick and BBQ tomorrow so I should go to bed soon.

Just got back home tonight after work and drinks with coworkers. Made a pit stop at CVS to get some motherfucking popcorn, which I've been getting the weirdest fucking cravings for.

Popcorn in the microwave, packing a bowl, putting on Inglorious Basterds. I am pretty content.

While back a "business" just down the street from me was raided. The police presence was insane. Cruisers out the ass, even swat trucks, at least 30+ officers you could see standing outside the building (all in tactical gear with assault rifles). They effectively shut down our busiest road in the city for a 1/8 mile to the north and south of the business. My city isn't a total metropolis but it's far from "tiny", this is a major response to happen.

Today we found out it turned out to be a front for major drug trafficking. Think "dispensary" but dealing in all forms of drugs, in a state where even MJ possession is illegal. Over a dozen people arrested in the raid. Investigation has been going on for a long time (months, including undercovers acting as buyers). This particular business has always seemed shady.

I didn't look up street values, but I'm going to estimate about 50-100k worth of drugs were seized. Just kinda mind blowing for that to happen here (and so close to me) and get away with it for so long (it's been up years).

Just never know what's lurking right around the corner from you. Wanted a source for certain drugs for a long time now and could never find them, and it was just right there.
