Most places requite at least 24 hour notice.

im not sure where the OP lives though.

you're certainly not allowed to throw away the property of your tenants either.

if you are renting the place, than you need to provide prior notification--or at least make a reasonable attempt--before entering the property.

OP, unless you live in a super shitty area, with regards to renter rights, than your landlord is definitely in the wrong--for many different reasons

I'm almost certain even though she owns the place, she has to let the tenant know she will be entering the premises. Unless it's an emergency of something of that nature.

Op was out, and she didn't even try to call him up, she entered which is not acceptable. She defiantly is in the wrong, I'd suggest collecting all the shit for evidence and sue her especially because she evicted you... I'm sure you told her they weren't illegal yes?

in many places she needs a valid reason to evict you too, not just 30 days

You'll have your lab up and going again once you get your fat settlement. Unless she can prove you were doing something illegal, which it sounds like you weren't, she's fucked.

You could call a locksmith or break in and start living there anyway.  When she complains, tell her to call the cops.  The cops will come, check the address on your ID, and tell the landlord that she needs to go through the proper channels to evict you.

If you do this, make sure you don't have anything illegal.  Even though she entered illegally, if she reports illegal activity that gives the police the legal right to enter.

Evictions take months and you have a chance to contest them in court.  And you get an appeal.

sue her ... you will win. That is close to burglary. I don't know for the US, but in my country it is my place when i rent it. The landlord has to tell you days in advance if he wants to see the flat. Can't turn up unannounced ... can't enter the flat without you knowing while you are away. That is not right. Actually here where i live i could also deny the landlord entry to my flat and he/she wouldn't be able to get back in until the contract ends and i have moved out... 

Then she stole your stuff and destroid it. She ows you A LOT of money!

Secure any proof you can! Make sure you can proof it!
