This is a well played, but a classic thread nevertheless. I love cooking and need ideas on what to cook, always! Please post pictures or recipes of recent meals here and please come here for food ideas! Feel free to post especially delicious restaurant dishes here as well!
Try to keep things about food, please and I will try to bump this once a day!
Last night, I made enchiladas, artichoke, and pico de gallo, all served with beans:

Thanks to OTDer Azur for this thread idea! Let's see what you pubbers can cook!

Looks good, I love to cook so I hope this thread takes off. Im going shopping when my lady gets off, the store she works at is having a sale and she gets a discount.
This week I made a beef stew, steak and potatoes, fajitas with pork loin and smoked sausage still in the freezer. Cooking good shit doesnt cost as much as most people assume. Tonight I think will be frozen pizza so I can have a day off from cooking and dishes, but cooking is a great passion of mine. I usually dont let my lady cook cuz Im so picky/experimental and shes still learning basics.

Those dishes all sound amazing! beef stew and fajitas are some of my staples (never used pork loin before though). And I agree, usually eating healthier, better tasting food at home is actually cheaper than eating out in the long run.
You guys should try cooking together! I love cooking with people and sharing ideas as we go. Cooks tend to be finicky about people in their kitchen though, it almost always results in an argument or two, lol!

We do cook together sometimes....
Last night we had tacos, always easy and good stuff. I ended up putting the pork roast in the slowcooker since it was thawed and ill do some garlic mashed potatoes to go with it and a salad.
Ive made pineapple and black bean pico once that was very good. One thing my woman makes well is shepards pie or another is chicken alfredo.

I never understood why anyone would make mashed potatoes without garlic! I like your style, man!
Pork does some amazing things in the slow cooker. I do slow cooked pulled pork sandwiches a lot. Pineapple, black bean salsa sounds great! I'll have to make that some time!
What is shepard's pie? I've had it a lot, but it's different everywhere, isn't it?

shepards pie is a pie consisting of corn, mashed potatoes, ground burger, gravy, and whatever else you want. More or less.
I love to drench my shepherds pie in hotsauce

Yikes, it's tough to have meaningful conversation in this thread until you move out of mommy's and actually have to cook for yourself, kids!
Cheerios is a start... Sprinkle some meth on there and you have a real man's meal.

I just cut up a sweet potato like you would a normal one and popped them in the oven under the grill with a little olive oil. You have to be careful though they're easy to burn

How are you living, Fennario? Looks to me, like you appreciate good food.

Fennario said: How do you like your artichokes?
I would have them sometimes growing up, always served with a small dish of melted butter to dip the leaves in, shit was really good. Then having to scrape that hairy shit away from the heart of the artichoke was kinda fun, artichoke hearts are so fucking good.
And you gotta eat sometime... Post some food, I'm hungry, dude
