Need advice - Noman's Tek DMT Extraction Mimosa Hostilis

I got my hands on a large quantity of Mimosa Hostilis a long time ago, I've been too scared to extract mainly because of dealing with lye so it's just been sitting there. I'm unwilling to do the extractions that don't involve lye, they just seem too complicated for me and the results never appear that great. Anyways, for some reason I'm not scared now. I realized I was being paranoid and if I'm cautious, wear protective gear, and have vinegar on hand I will be fine. Not sure why the paranoia dissipated, perhaps it's just time. So I'm planning my first extraction of mimosa hostels using 100g of inner root bark! ^_^-

Aight so I have a few simple enough questions.

When you stir the NaOH (Lye) with H20 what do you use to stir it? I mean, it's a very caustic solution that I imagine would eat through and dissolve a lot of stuff. Also, with whatever I'm string with, what do I do with it after stirring? It's covered in a caustic solution so I imagine just throwing it somewhere could be dangerous, or am I being paranoid again?

The other question, after freeze precipitation when you scrape the crystals and let them evaporate - is it safe to do this outside in temperatures 90-100 degrees? I just don't want to have my apartment stinking of petroleum ether lol.

Also, I have both powdered and shredded bark, seeing as this is my first time extracting, what's better for Noman's tek? I read something about shredded bark, for some reason powdered still seems to be like it would be a better choice. I could be wrong though, I'm a n00b.

What's the optimal jar for a 100g extraction? A wine jug seems like it would have too much volume which I would imagine would make separation of Naptha from the NaOH solution difficult. Also, does the cap of the jar matter? Will the caustic solution eat through caps with a plastic seal? Should I insure they're solid metal?

After you done all the pulls, how do you dispose of the remaining NaOH/H20/Mimosa solution?-

And the last question, how crucial is ventilation when mixing NaOH with H2O? Air circulation in a room with no open windows be ok? If not, what would be the consequence of doing it this way? Is it something thats kind of bad for your health, or will it suffocate me and stink my place to hell? I once got a whiff of hydrochloric acid once and practically suffocated lol. so I'm very humble to how bad certain compounds can effect the respiratory system- :p. The room I would prefer to do an extraction in - the kitchen - doesn't have any windows. I will be wearing gloves, goggles, AND a respirator.

1. uses a metal spoon

2.nobody lives in an environment where it is 90-100 degrees

3.i would go powdered

4.possibly something with a long neck and is glass but not with too long of a neck like a wine bottle as extracting naphtha would be hell

5.lye you can put down the drain but with naphtha u can either recycle for nxt time or evaporate

6. ventilation is  important, be prepared for some nasty headaches and i am pretty sure lye is dangerous if you are close to it, not that dangerous but still not too good

ive gotten lye on myself and it was never an emergency. i understand being cautious with it but the amount of worry you express is unwarranted, id be more worried about the legal risk youre taking by extracting DMT

Lye itself isn't as dangerous as lye solution

That shit can burn you easily

You should follow Cyb's hybrid salt tek instead I did that with ACRB and got great results I hear it works even better with MHRB

I've decided to use a 1/2 gallon HDPE jug for extraction

On Noman's tek it says

-Mix 15mL water and 1g lye per gram of bark in the mixing jar. For example: 50g bark would require 750mL water and 50g lye. One level tablespoon of lye weighs about 15g, though this can vary considerably, better to use a scale. Note that lye is dangerous. Blind you forever dangerous. Wear eye protection and have a bottle of vinegar handy as a neutralizer and for clean up. Add the lye to the water slowly stirring constantly until completely dissolved.

My question, how do I stir it as I add it and still be cautious? Also, what do I do with the metal spoon once the lye is dissolved? I'm assuming it's covered in a caustic solution so I can't just throw it on a table. I'm still unclear on this and will probably just buy a magnetic stirrer.

Also, does mixing the lye with water emit a odor that lingers? I have my own place, but would like to know before hand if it's going to emit a odor at last a while and is hard to explain if someone comes over or if it goes through the air vents.

Not as worried about the Naptha, I plan on evaporating outside and if anyone smells it "oh, I spilled lighter fluid shit sucks" lol
