Two simple questions......

Hows it goin?
The first question: If there are 2 jars of sterilized jars of rye grain that were inoculated a few months ago and nothing happened, could a guy just put them back in the pressure cooker and try again with a better inoculation technique?
The second question: Would watering without a fine enough mist cause damage to pins or mycelium on the casing?

1, going well :grin:

2, Throw out the contents and start again, no need to risk bacterial contams for the sake of 50c worth of rye.

3, Yes, large droplets can damage pins, better to not directly spray a pinning casing or cake at all , but instead mist the walls of the grow chamber.
