Karo Tek & PF-Tek question

I want to try a Karo jar at the same time I start
the PF-tek. Can I PC a Karo jar at 15 psi/45min
with the PF jars? I think the Karo Tek said 20 min
so I'm hoping 15 min more won't screw up the Karo.

pcing it for that long will caramelize the sugars, 5 mins has sufficed for me

i know people who have done it and it worked fine. just make sure your karo doesn't turn yellow. if so, its overcooked. Its worth a shot tho, if it doesn't work out then you'll know. Its not like you can lose much. take it easy man

A microwave works for sterilzing dextrose/water just fine for me. 5 minutes of boiling and it's sterile and no carmelization
