One more thing. You can use 1 pint wide mouth ball mason jars with tapered sided and then cut the cake in half or into 4 sections as is discribed in the sea of shrooms tech. sea of shrooms tech says to cut 1/2 pint cake sin half i cut 1 pint cakes into 4 sections.

I don't know about BALL Mason jars, but I found 1/2 pint wide mouth Mason jars at a local close out store for $3.99 a dozen.

Found Ball regular tapered half-pint jars yesterday 5.98 a dozen. It gives a number for questions 1-800-240-3340. Hope this helps.

yeah, i'm not so sure about that as well. i know my local osco drug store caries ball jars, both 1/2 and full pint tapered, and seems to have the intention to continue to do so. i myself have the full pint jars and am a bit wary waiting twice as long for them to colonize/fruit so i'm fairly curious about this sea of shrooms teq. that teq on this site by chance?

why would a company stop making one of its best selling items. walmart here has millions of cases of them. I doupt the info is true
one more thing on the tapered subject. A well tapered shit will have little or no splash when it hits the water
