Cant find 1/2 pint wide mouth's in you town?

I just recieved 2 dozen 1/2 pint ball mason wide mouth canning jars. They are the mack daddy jars for growing cakes. I couldnt find any in my town so i was forced to order online. I only found a couple stores that had them and they were all overpriced. Anyways, i found this canddle supply store that had them for 8.78 a dozen. All said and done, after shipping, i paid 24.79 for 2 dozen and it only took about 4 or 5 days to arrive. This is not an advertisement nor in no way am i afiliated with the website. I just know how hard these jars can be to find so , checkit out..

hehe... i almost bought jars online.... then tuesday night I decided to ask the wonderful people here at the Shroomery bulletins, and they pointed me towards ACE TRU VALUE HARDWARE, where I got my jars for $8.25, and NO shipping... hehe....

believe me i really didnt want to buy them online, but i had no choice. I checked everywhere locally.

They are great people them Tru Value people.
Mine has them in stock or orders for me.
I went up today and they had 3 more boxes sitting there for me.
Mine were cheaper thou. $7.49 a case.

Walmart is totally stripped of canning supplies at this time of year...Christmas and the lack of home grown fruits/veggies in the cold climate states...Stick with True Value...if they don't have 'em...they'll get 'em...

i had great luck with true value too or ace hardware. you want the gold top ball brand jars, they're a lil better then the plaid top jars.....no ace or true value around you...... try the mom and pop hardware stores if theyre are any.
