yeah, they most def do NOT have anything developed
the damn things arent even built yet- maybe 6 months for that ( developers ) i know this b/c my luckyass brother is going to be heading development for some ps3 games....

Microsoft uses shitty hardware, those dvdroms are the worst. Low cost hardware in my opinion. Btw they sales are better than before since chips for the xbox are around, and their consideration of losing money is "not maximizing their profit" (greedy bastards). I cant tell you about software, not in the xbox scene anymore.
But in my opinion and experience the appealing thing for the xbox is of being able of running homebrew software, that media player is so sweet and the posibilities of messing with your sistem around are big.

I like sega SLIGHTLY more tho, the dreamcast was fucking bomb before it died.

video games today are just like T.V. all eye candy, no substance at all.
give me crono trigger or bonks adventure, or any 2d shooting game, and it'll get more play time than any bullshit like Tony Hawk Underground or similar crap. when will gamers realize all theyree doing is pasting on nw charcter models, making new levels, and adding 1 or 2 new features. man with tony hawk theyve done this like 5 TIMES! its dispicable

Gamecube is the shit. Dreamcast was the shit. The NES still rocks.

Ikaruga for Gamecube is a great throwback to the heyday of the shooter.

And I swear that fucking XIII is a bitch. Still haven't beaten that bastard!

XBOX does loose money on every console they sell. It costs them more to manufacture and market than they make off of it. Their plan was to make their profit back on games.

I'm another diehard nintendo fan, since about the first mario game came out on NES. I love the old zelda games to death. I'm getting gamecube for christmas with the zelda compilation. I also bought metroid prime and 007 Nightfire. There's a bunch of other games I want.

Thats actully most company plants, nintendo has done that since the NES days, and they continue to do it with the gamecube.

I think wed get along very well.

There is no reason that dreamcast should not have dominated the video game world. I lost a lot of faith in the gaming community when it didn't fly... but playstation continued to sell in record numbers =(

fuck yes at the dc lovers. phantasy star online on dc was the most i'd ever played a videogame (350 hours) and really, other games on the system were just so polished and fun

though i must admit, i pirated over 100 games

on gamecube:
mario kart, metroid prime, viewtiful joe, soul calibur, monkeyball, smash bros, mario sunshine, zelda wind waker, fzero

some of the best games i have EVER played

exactly...i'm a huge fan of sega...they've never been able to make systems that sell in the long run but damn they've alwayse had awsome games.

Sweet! This PS3 post turned into a NGC post! I have all three sytems and I play two of them and one of them collects dust. I can't stand my playstation. The only reason I have it is for Grand Turismo and GTA3. Now that GTA3 has went multiplatform I have no need for my PS2. Grand Turismo 4 is also supoosed to be multiplatform when it is released.

Xbox is a great system, but I still find the majority of my game playing time devoted to the Game Cube. I can't get enough of Mario Kart these days. I play that game till I get blisters on my thumbs. I'm also a HUGE Zelda fan! Had to snacth up a copy of the Legend of Zelda Collectors disc. It's amazing how fun the the regular Nintendo Zelda's still are!

As for PS3... It'll probably be a sweet system. But I think they're making a mistake in releasing it before the new x-box and nintendo product. Sony will once again have a system that is out of date behind two other systems.

The only company that makes money when it sells a console is Sony. Microsoft and especially Nintendo take fairly big losses with each console they sell. They make all the lost revenue up in game sales. It might seem like nintendo isn't doing so well trying to compete againts the other 2 systems. But Nintendo has ruled the gaming world in sales over the past 10 years... much in part to the gameboy. Nintendo's last true competitor was Sega. Sega made a few grave mistakes in the consoles they produced. Dreamcast was a cool system when it came out but it was rushed and when PS2 emerged it nailed the coffin shut on Sega console making days.
