Probably Men in Black (or one of the sequels). Maybe Avatar after that..

I don't feel like there is a lot of great alien movies out there, they're all just kinda equal. I find Aliens or Fire in the Sky really no better than Cowboys and Aliens or Skyline.

I'll watch them all but none really stand out to me.

Predator is good 80's cheese, but I am a fan of Xenomorphs so Alien films take the cake for me.

The Thing (1982) is a fave of mine as well, so is the original black/white blob and the remake.

ET is a classic, gotta mention that. Avatar is wonderful film work, with engaging story so that one is the tits.

But those chase scenes in the original Alien film are creepy, you can feel how alone they are in the middle of space, you can feel their despair as they get picked off one by one, so much atmosphere.

The original original movie version was 1951

The book version was the best!

Altered (2006) was a fun twist on the abduction plot.

Aliens without Sigourney Weaver is like Ninja Turtles without ninja turtles, or Jurassic Park with Chris Pratt instead of Sam Neill. :smirk:
