can somebody just dumb this down one shade for me. never done it this way, just gimme the basics. put mecylium in a bag, mush it up, add it to water and suck it up with a syringe?

I'm lookin to do this today, do I need to let it grow in a jar like honey water? add h202 to the mix? Just a real quick run-through is all i'm lookin for. Ratio's would be helpful too. Thanks

what source are you using for the mycelium? or are you going to start with spores? or are you going to use myc from a grain jar or freshly colonised brf jar?

if using myc from a grain jar/freshly colonised brf cake etc.then
mix the karo water at a ratio of 6 ml karo/100 ml water
then sterilise(PC for 10-15 minutes or microwave for 3-5 minutes) a jar 3/4 filled with the karo water.
then,under a flowhood or in a glovebox open the karo jar and your brf/grain jar and remove a small amount of myc(avoiding actual grains,you just need a little fluffy myc)using a clean spoon/knife blade,add the myc to the karo water and recap your jars.
for added contam protection you could add peroxide to the karowater at this stage at a ratio of 20/1.

if making karowater from spores you can either make new syringes from a print using sterilised karo water.or you can use a premade syringe to inoculate a jar of sterilised karowater.
dont add peroxide if starting from spores.

your welcome,some of the older teks can be a little hazy on details sometimes......maybe some of the more experienced people here could offer to update/clairfy the details and methods of the verious teks.

sure that'd be cool too, got a bottle of karo for 96 cents, 28 oz of LGBR for $1.34, a bottle of H202 for 50 cents, already got tons of colonized jars so total cost involved is less than $5 and I have about 120 CC's worth of empty syringes......i'd say this is bound to be a positive TEK, i've never tried it before.....guess we'll see :smile: thanks again for the info, anything else is appreciated as well.  Best of luck.
