I don't require any of those meds. I did, but only for 6 months, Because I stopped smoking hash oil and stopped tripping for those 6 months, my brain rejuvenated itself back into normality.

My psychiatrist says I no longer have schizophrenia at all.

That is not how schizophrenia works. Schizophrenia cannot be "cured". You never had it in the first place, you had temporary drug-induced psychosis because you couldn't handle your shit. Doesn't bode well for that poor kid

Impossible. When the positive symptoms of schizophrenia disappear you have what is called residual schizophrenia. No psychiatrist would say it's completely gone, because there is certainly a chance it could come back, especially after quitting antipsychotics for a long period of time.

Generally it takes 6 months for antipsychotics to even show a positive effect.

Sounds like you had a substance-induced psychosis to me, not schizophrenia.

It was a drug-induced psychosis but I was also diagnosed with schizophrenia

so I guess it was just a mixup

but you are wrong about the psych meds taking so long to work...I noticed a change just after 1 week of taking them.
