The PEAR studies prove nothing except the results fall into the margin of error with a 95% confidence level.

With my mind.

Knowing all that we know about the brain (which may not be a ton but it's still significant) I don't understand why anyone would think they can control things outside of themselves in any way other than people reacting to your body language and speech, or physically doing things. You are a loose head if you believe in natural telekinesis or other such nonsense.

The essay "Beliefs" by Aldous Huxley, found in the back of The Perennial Philosophy, is relevant to the conversation going on in this thread. I think Orgone should read it, particularly. :sun:

Also see Carl Jung's commentary/intro to the Tibetan Book of the Great Liberation. Materialism was just another whackjob's little idea.

Telling someone to read something is not debate. Make an actual point.

@OrgonCconclusion
Could you post some links to studies about fantasy? I am quite interested in that topic.

On the topic: My mind can levitate things and move things around, I can even move them to a trajectory. I only need to touch them:P

This thread is about the mind influencing EXTERNAL things. I really don't care what kind of nuttiness goes on in other people's heads.

All minds are clearly not created equally.

What's Vegas going to do when Lake Mead runs dry? Find someone else to steal water from like California is hoping to do?

WELL then.....

That's the Vegas plan. Run a pipeline to the East and suck those wells dry too after Lake Mead runs dry. Meanwhile do you ever hear of water conservation at the greediest most sinfully insane place in perhaps the world? Of course not.
