Does the mind exert influence outside the body?

And more importantly, what does that mean in our day to day lives? I'm sure many of you are familiar with the PEAR studies, which found a significant statistical anomaly in experiments with operator intention effecting a random variable.

More importantly if it is in fact the case the mind exerts influence outside the body, is it localized inside the body? What does it mean for future research? What other ways could it be expressed?

I just would say, our mind constantly tries to get at what's out of our conscious reach by assumptions ?

It is not a fact. The PEAR studies have been refuted many times, so the implications and future applications are nil.

This has been covered way too many times here, but those still clinging to magic refuse to let go.

Why of course it does.
What do you think magic is?
Using your mind, spirit, energies to influence the other energies out there.
But it's not a simple subject. Nor is it well understood or understood at all within the scientific community.
It'd all about that power. And how your able to manipulate energies.

It's not all that bad.  You can make those assumptions subconsciously real for everyone practitioning those kind of 'mindsets'.
In my view, that's the source of all magic anyways and if it really forms any kind of 'reality', or transforms or perceives it, is still discussable :wink:

There has been no confirmation.

Most intelligent people get the difference between a flawed, non-repeatable study and one that has been replicated and peer-reviewed. Do you?

The scientific "community" knows enough about their own data hand jobs (it's known as "stroking the data" among the strokers) to not fall for someone else who doesn't wear a lab coat and carry their "test" tube around in their hand.

I believe the correct term nowadays is "conspiracy theorists" leading to "exercises" like the upcoming Jade Helm 15 where a "test" is done to see if people can figure out that their neighbors being led to the waiting buses to be taken away in the middle of the night is part of a "drill".

Is it "live" or is it "Memorex"?

I've had my own experiences throughout my childhood dealing with negative entities. All sorts. For one to understand energies, entities, spirituality, you have to have your own experiences with these things. Otherwise, all you can do is look at the 'facts'.

Without psychedelics I'veencountered spirits of all kinds. Through all mmy senses. Knowing the spirit world's who are right in front of us, our minds/spirit does have influence.

There's a difference between fantasy and experience. When other things come to you, you'll know the difference. Sober. And this occurred with my sister and others, I'm not alone.

All minds are clearly not created equally.
