bah, they turned blue
    #2162463 - 12/05/03 05:28 PM (20 years, 3 months ago)

Checked on a few cyan patches today and saw lots of blue fruits in many of them.  Pretty weird, I don't usually see that unless it freezes.  My guess is the dry wind dried things out a lot, then the rain came and rehydrated everything real fast.  Lots of normal colored pins coming, but it still sucks.  I haven't tried them, I'm sure they lost a good bit of potency though :frown: .  But I hate to see em go to waste, so I picked em anyway.  At least they make for some pretty cool pics .

A little patch of normal ones, hallelujah :smirk:

A patch from yesterday at different place

Anyone else seeing this, or is god trying to tell me to stop picking so much   ?

Yeah, the ones that are out in the open are definately getting blue but the ones in bushes or holding up against buildings are standing there ground. The winds should be dying out soon and the rains should keep the ones who survive going.
Awesome finds as always, by the way.

It's the same blueing you see in cubes from handling. It's from oxidation of psilocybin. Like Dh said, the winds really dried them out and with the rains which followed they would have rehydrated too quickly. Too much osmotic pressure, bursted cells then oxidation.
Oh well, nothing really wrong with them and we'll have plenty more flushes.
Peace - @cro

I got blue today too . No I dont think that God is telling you that you need to stop finding and looking for them; If that was the case you wouldnt find them.
