I grow low tek in jars somewhat chronic tek

I'm posting this here cause it's expeimental and although I have spent many hundreds of hours reading about shroom growing and I have grown many many shrooms myself, no one to my knowledge has tried this.

Increase air exchange by sucking CO2 out of jars therefore rendering more ideal environment for shrooms to grow.

It all started when I tried growing stropharia cubensis invitro in 2qt 1 pint jars and their growth seemed slow and stunted

I figured an easy way to increase air exhcange was by sucking on one of the holes in the lid.

Doing so daily, shrooms seemed to grow better and bigger

A question that I would appreciate input on is that while doing this I seem to experience a slight head rush.

Is this purely psychological?

hyperventilating? Just like blowing up several ballons in succession. My guess.
I would think that a larger air exchange/filter area would have the same effect, but it's probably good to stir up the air in the jars.

I would practice extreme caution with this method unless you are absolutely sure that contamination is not a factor. Breathing in a lung full of black pin mold, for example, would definitely put you at increased risk of psnemonia and/or other respiratory ailments.

yeah I do it too, only I use a little airpump/blower weed pipe to suck the air out.

Whatever works, but if you make sure theres no sighn of contams, I cant think of any reason not to do it. I get more crap in my lungs walking along all the sidewalk with all the trafic spewing deisel fumes and shit...
I dont think you can get high off the air, lol....prob tastes weird hey?
