Who cares? I don't think PTSD gives you a right to gun down unarmed people who pose no threat to you.
On the same token though, a lot of training cops receive these days is pretty fucked up. A lot of them learn an 'us vs them' mentality, cops are increasingly become militarized, and they have done target practice on cutouts of pregnant women and children. They are taught not to hesitate and to shoot first and ask questions later. That still doesn't justify anything though.

slow down, i never said it did. i am however saying that well, maybe there should be better restrictions on who gets to be/stay a cop.

i'm not trying to justify what he did, taking a life is not the way to absolve matters like these.

Government has been the number one cause of non-natural death in the 20th and 21st century.





























Just a small sampling.... in almost every single one of these cases the shootings were ruled justified and the cops cleared of all charges.

there should be more restrictions and deeper psychological testing of who gets to be a cop.

No, I'm not trying to argue with you. I agree with what you are saying. I put the videos because they piss me off.
It's just such a systemic problem. Too many cops resort to deadly force when it is not necessary and the system that employs them tries to cover for them and get them off the hook. They get a paid vacation during the "investigation" and once they are cleared of wrong doing (99% of the time), they are back on the job. Some cops have killed multiple people. It's not just a problem with some cops, it's with our justice system too. They know they can get away with it the vast majority of the time and that their department will have their back.

there's a lot more wrong with the judicial system than what's at face value too, the whole thing needs to be seriously overhauled. the maint thing that needs to change is people's attitudes towards criminals and lawbreakers, we need to treat them as not trash, but not victims. but i'm getting off-topic here

I know it's difficult to fathom that someone can be pulled over for something and
during the stop do something that has managed to escalate something from a simple
traffic stop to felonious assault on an officer but it does happen, what isnt

The cop is a lying fucking bastard. He also said he feared for his life. That is obviously complete bullshit.
Of course he said he tried to steal the taser from him to justify it. You can see in the video where he drops it on the ground next to him as he's laying there dying.

Or "I thought he had a gun" ... like they said about the man they killed sitting in a lawnchair watering his lawn with a GARDENING HOSE.... or the old man they shot in the head carrying HIS GRANDSON.
Last I checked a baby doesn't look like a gun. But maybe everything looks like a gun to a cop.

what the video doesnt show is his reason for running

Well I would think if they have some sort of mental illness they would be ineligible to be a police officer.

The cop who told me "Don't run or I'll shoot you!" had some sort of stutter though. Something was definitely off in the guy's brain. Definitely.
