White on caps: humidity to high or too low?

From perusing the forums and various teks and such, it seems the community has come to the conclusion that mycelium growth on the stems means the humidity is very high. I haven't, however, come across a solid answer for what mycelium on the CAPS means. To me, it looks like something that would happen if the humidity was too LOW... but I'm certainly no mycologist. What do you guys think?

Thank you. I just finished adding a layer of perlite to each of my grow chambers. Hopefully that'll keep the humidity high enough during those times when the humidifier is off.

>Too low.
I don?t agree.
What you are seeing on the pictures is completely normal with some strains.

Anno -- you obviously know more about different strains than me. I only grow to experiment, so I haven't had much experience with different strains.
Turtlelamp -- what strain is it?
My rationale is that it's a tell-tale sign of low humidity (I've seen it before) at least for some strains and trying to raise the humidity could only help with cakes.
Anno's probably right, though -- there may not be a problem, at all. Just make sure low humidity's not a factor, of course.

They're "golden teacher" cakes. I don't remember seeing anything like it on any of the pictures of gt's I've seen...

I think you are OK. My bud has some pinning Ecuadors and they have spots on their caps... In a PMP and the RH is @ 99%
