MMGG and mycelium on caps

How come in the magic mushroom growers guide it says that mycelium on caps indicates low humidity and people on this board say that it means high humidity? Can someone please clarify?

Means too high dude, think about it. When fruiting you are supposed to drop the humidity to around 90% (for casings anyways) yet mycelial growth prefers high humidity around 99%. If you have too high humidity, you get mycelial growth on the caps (and the stems too).

Too high concentrations of co2 and humidity. Shroomies reverting to vegative state. Me tinks anyway.
