A world without gender stereotyping

So I was curious... what would our lives look like if there were no gender-role stereotypes?

I think a lot of children would exhibit less conformity and have more freedom to really express how they feel or who they think they are. Perhaps we would have different values as a society and reform our identity as humans (not sure in what ways though). It also seems like there would be more gender equality in the workplace - with more females being CEOs, firefighters, police, etc. Lastly, I think there would be more tolerance of the LGBT community.

Thoughts?
