she really has a talent! for 17y she has a good tehnique and "artist touch"(like said before - unique way to make people look like they have downś syndrome). surely, it may be hard to encourage her - people who have more, usually think itś not enough.

all i can express to her is to practice gesture drawing alot. shes real good, but theres to much mechanics involved in her art. shes trying to hard to capture something that should be loose. does she draw from pictures? that could be the problem.

nothing bad about it all.... practice practice practice. gesture drawing is numero uno.

The shoe was done freehand with pencil around 2 years ago, the boy in the sombrero and the Indian chief were done with charcoal, that might be obvious to some of you but it wasn't to me......hope the additional info helps you come up with an even more accurate assmesment of my friend's abilities :smile:

Really freak...she's good. She appears to have the raw talent, now she just needs to develop a style. It takes time to find the right style for you...myself, I'm still shopping around. :smirk: :thumbup:
