Idk why everyone hates religion. I know people are dying in the name of islam but thats just the middle east, if they werent killing each other over which version of god is right then theyd kill each other for some other stupid reason. I do understand that they are hypocrites but most people are. In my opinion if someone chooses to seek religion as a means of improving their life more power to them! But if they use their religion to demean or attack someone else then that is wrong. I dont care what anyone does or believes as long as its not hurting anyone.

we haven't even had the ability to calculate and determine changes in climate, for as long as there have been spikes in raising temperature, and falls in it, so does anybody even know that what global warming is happening right now is due to us, and how do know if it's harmful?

Religion is bullshit. Islam is a personality cult, Christianity is a political construct, Judaism is a dead civic code. The Abrahamic religions are a moral and intellectual pestilence. Animism makes more sense than this Abrahamic horseshit and it's still complete nonsense.

I kinda seem to swing back and forth between agnosticism/gnosticism and atheism, I feel one of my atheist phases coming on because I've had bad experiences with religious people lately. Fucking delusional wackjobs.

Okay instead of saying its a middle east problem ill just say its a radical problem. The religion itself cant be held responsible for what radical factions do, at the base  of it islam is a religion of peace and 1 billion muslims manage to practice that religion in peace. With that said sharia law is bullshit and no nation should be subjected to laws based on a book written thousands of years ago. Like i said i have no problem with anyone who can practice their beliefs without hurting others, in fact i respect that immensely.

you all should realize that you're railing against really old and insanely genius postulations of human ingenuity. but you're not able to conceive why it's at the least interesting, and you're railing about it, because you think it makes people kill people, well it doesn't... people kill people and not because of religions or guns or moo, it's about the fact that they are confused by control.

everything is about preservation, and you're all whittling away at your seams.

it's all cult of personality, in every walk of life, so wtf is the problem with that? what is the problem with reverence? what is really "wrong" with politics, just because some idiots run the show. the point is to instil values. not bicker. so what if the Old Testament was an old civics code? we have new ones. you're free aren't you? or is that not it yet?

people need something to blame for why they hate their lives, and religion is an easy target. make a broad, sweeping generalization and you take away any individuality or legitimacy to your enemies, making it easier to bombast them with impunity.
