Secondly, the cop clearly reached out first and initiated physical contact first. If he had simply backed off like the man requested then there might not have even been an altercation.

That's the funny part of the body camera issue, it favors the cops not the criminals.

People from many urban communities think it will show abusive police tactics, but in reality it will show the poor behavior within their own community actually is the main factor for aggressive police actions.

not that i have a problem with this cop wasting some degenerate, but your comment is rediculous. the cop may have been injured if he used non-lethal force, but he wouldnt have been killed or even crippled.

worst case scenario, the guy could have sliced the tendons in the cops hand, requireing him to retire, probably making alot of money doing nothing. unless the cop wasnt actually trained at all and just some weekend warrior, then he could have been overtaken and killed if that was the perps intent
