Piracetam was available long after the supposed ban.  I wonder if the suppliers just haven't produced any in a while, it was available not long ago for purchase everywhere.

Replying to an old thread....

BUT, I have been regularly ordering bulk powder piracetam from amazon for the past year.  I also have ordered and received: noopept and oxiracetam (similar nootropics.)

Now, I can't find any bulk piracetam powder, or any -racetams, for that matter, on amazon.com.

I can't find any piracetam products, at all!

So, I searched in my order history, and all the piracetam products I purchased appear in the order history, but when I click them, an amazon page appears which says "Sorry, the page you are looking for does not exist."


Hmmm.....anybody heard anything new about this?

I literally less than 6 weeks ago received a shipment (I live within the contiguous United States) with no problems. 


If you have any other sources for high quality piracetam bulk powder (and other nootropic powders) please reply to this post, or p.m. me!!!

I'm also having trouble finding a supplier for bulk piracetam. It is NOT on amazon anymore. Nutra Planet is selling bulk powder : http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/nutraplanet/piracetam-700-grams.html ; - I don't know if they are a legitimate source though..

Aniracetam is around and much stronger.  Try JL nootropics.

Noopept is what you are looking for.
It is far cheaper per dose then any other racetam.
Stronger too. Nootropics are in there starting stages though, so most are still mild.


Yea it was banned awhile ago by the FDA, they sent a letter to one of the largest importers / seller.
You still can find it on ebay.

I'm not sure its actually "banned", as its usually sold as a dietary supplement.

Often, these letters are warnings for advertising and "claims" (e.g. a seller is selling something as a cognitive enhancer without any real evidence backing it up).

It was sold as a dietary supplement.
When in fact it is a "drug", or so the FDA stated in the letter.
It did also state that clams were made, that is more secondary.

Yea it was a warning letter for that major company / importer. 

Products are excluded from the definition of a "dietary supplement" under section 201(ff)(1) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 321(ff)(1). To be a dietary supplement a product must, among other things, "bear[ ] or contain[ ] one or more ... dietary ingredients" as defined in section 201(ff)(1) of the Act.

Just want to say.

My experience with piracetam and nootropics are that they are complete bogus.

They are the modern day snake oil. Placebo has a more significant effect then these nootropic drugs. A tenth of a milligram of adderrall has more nootropic enhancement abillities then piracetam.

It should be banned. The only thing good about the nootropic industry is people waste their money hoping for some miracle cure and empty their wallets so someone else makes money. Go to your doctor and say you have ADD if you want a nootropic.

Never taken any of the racetam chemicals.
I hear they are like a stronger, synthetic version of celastrus paniculatus.
If that is the case, then they must be pretty strong.

Bitter cactus also hates cannabis and thinks Kratom is inactive so I'd keep that in mind :shrug:

I am a big advocate for kratom. Kratom is a superior nootropic to piracetam because it actually gives you energy, stamina and focus.

I do not like weed. :shrug:

Piracetam just gave me brain fog and made me tired.

Piracetam is garbage. It will not make you smarter, do better in school, give you any energy what so ever.

A small sip of coffee will do more then piracetam.

Eating healty, excercise, quitting drugs, anything really will do more then piracetam.
