My sternum cracks extremely loud constantly.

Title pretty much sums it up.  It's getting louder with age.....like I go to stretch, and instead of my back cracking, my sternum does, HARD AND LOUD.  It's like a cap gun x3.  It used to feel relaxing, but as I get older it is harder to do, and it hurts if I don't accomplish it.....like a sneeze that does come out....just uncomfortable.


Am I going to throw my sternum out or something one day?

My sternum cracks a lot too. But I have Pectus Excavatum so thats why... I think you should be fine but get it checked out to be 100% sure.

its probably your sternoclavicular joints.  Or just intercostal joints where the ribs meet the sternum.  haha  i broke one if feb in a car accident when my chest hit the steering wheel.  it hurt to move but not breathe.  sore for months.

I've had a broken rib twice.  That stuff is no joke.  I fell out of a hammock and broke one once.....it hurt to laugh, smoke, sit up.....anything....for 9 months.  The other time I got jumped by 4 guys at a bar, and got my ribs kicked in.....I couldn't move out of the fetal position for a couple days.

Mine does this sometimes to but not as bad as yours. I don't believe it's supposed to crack like that though

I've had several broken ribs like you though. They hurt really really bad but not as bad as a herniated disc in your neck
