Re: 2015 New Year's Resolutions [Re: SunnyD]

Hmm... I wanna try to have ~3 goals I think.  So far I've just got one

1. Have more sex... I was on a really long drought for a while (~1.5  years), then broke it a while back and then went back into a drought (~3 month), but recently came out again. I would like to be having it a bit more than I have been in the past. Although I guess this ultimately boils down to a confidence thing and my ability at social interactions. One way I personally believe to help this issue is to either stop watching porn all-together or at least watch less "weird" porn. I tried this last year with some, but not a whole lot of success. This year should go better especially if this chick I'm talking to stays around. Lets see what 2015 has to offer.

2. Not sure yet...

I've always wanted to complete the Blazin Challenge at Buffalo Wild Wings, but idk if thats a good resolution. Then I plan on moving to an unknown town where I wont know anyone later in the year, but thats a bit far out for a resolution. Maybe I'll try to pick up a new skill or knowledge. Or maybe just complete a set of tricks in snowboarding.

Gonna come back to this thread when I figure out my other two resolutions

As far as the tradition of New Years Resolutions, I love it. If you think its stupid that is fine, but dont bring your hate in here :gc:

To smoke more weed.
I slacked off this year and probably only smoked an ounce in total. Which is appalling.

12 wings (blazin of course), 6 minutes, no drink. You get your picture up on the wall and maybe a T shirt?

Here is someone's post from another forum

Quote:
The Challenge
Buffalo wing chain Buffalo Wild Wings has something called the “Blazin’ Wing Challenge.” For $12.00, you get a dozen of the chain’s chicken wings, slathered in their signature “Blazin’” sauce, the top end of the heat scale in the Buffalo Wild Wings array of sauces. The challenge? Eat them all, in less than six minutes. Complete the challenge, and you get a tee shirt, and your photo on the wall of fame.

After you sign a waiver, absolving the restaurant of responsibility in the event you should begin vomiting uncontrollably, or go blind, there are a few more details to consider. During the six minute challenge, you can’t have anything to drink. You can’t use any dipping sauces, like blue cheese, that would dampen the heat. You can’t use a napkin. You can’t use anything but your mouth to strip meat from the bone. And you can’t touch your face.

Results/Thoughts
Win! Ended up beating the challenge in 1 minute in 57 seconds and set the record at that location!
This was my very first “spicy challenge”. I more of a volume challenge, I had never attempted anything spicy before. I never even thought of doing the challenge until my girlfriend and I were driving past the restaurant and I thought “Hey, they have a pretty decent food challenge from what I remember”. I went in, ordered it, and they stopped the music and announced my name and the entire restaurant cheered me on.

I'm going to go back to the gym, but only after I get back from vacation in mid-jan.  Probably go on a diet as well, I'm starting to get fat.  I lost 20 pounds over the spring and gained it all back plus another 5 pounds over the fall.  I was doing good til my gym membership expired cause of unpaid fees ($80) so I said fuck it.  Gonna go to a new gym.

Do it man, I believe in you.  Honestly I thought it was so stupid but once I got the regime down I became addicted to it.  Being sore is a great feeling!

If you guys are just trying to lose weight, SWIMMING!!!!  It is the highest calorie burning exersice, doesn't harm you joints and builds muscles everywhere.

I don't like swimming, I love running.  I was running for like 8 months straight.  I had no desire to stop, but it was hot out and my gym membership expired.  Could have ran in the fall, but I was walking 3 miles everyday to school so I didn't really care enough to make time.  Have been getting decent exercise for the past 2 years, but walking really isn't enough.  I need to do cardio again.

I can only eat like 4-6 mango habanero at a meal... so im not quite up there in spice or time I think, but I'm not too far off if i were to put some effort into it. Love the thai curry, asian zing, jamin jalapeno, caribbean jerk, and mango habanero

If you can get a lane for an hour, and that's without taking a break.  Swimming is really tiring.  My gf swims everyday, but she spends $80 a month on her gym membership.  If I had my own pool I would swim everyday, but swimming at a gym kind of blows unless you go to a really good gym or have your own pool.  Also, I like to listen to music while I run which isn't really an option for most people swimming unless you don't mind dropping  extra money on underwater ear phones or have your own pool.

You just named off all of my favorite flavors. Except for the Asian Zing, which I have not tried yet. I love the Thai Curry and Jammin' Jalapeno so much, I bought bottles of the sauces lol.

And now I feel like a fatass for sitting here talking about hot wings while other people are talking about burning calories and swimming. :feelsbadman:
