syrian rue extract

I tried a syrian rue extract last night, and I didn't
want to wait the few days the recipe calls for on
erowid so I tried my own quickie method, and failed
but I still ended up working it out, though I didn't
get the pure crystals like originally intended,
I still got a smokable resin.

I added a few drops of HCl acid to 1 1/2 cups water
added 7g ground seeds and soaked for 90mins
filtered, then based with NaOH/water solution to ph 13
extracted with toluene and bubbled w/ dry HCl
and no crystals precipitated out, so I added a water/
HCl acid solution, shook, then drew off the toluene
put the seeds back into the water/HCl acid solution
and boiled for 15mins, then filtered with a coffee filter
and boiled off the water and if left a blackish brown
resin that gets really hard when it cools, it yeilded 2.1 grams.

I threw a pea sized piece into a pipe that
I smoke tryptamines out of and got pretty blasted,
I think there was alot of dpt resin in the pipe though,
because I started trippin after taking about 3 lungfuls
and I know it wasn't from the rue, but it did potentiate
the effects, I'm going to try smoking this stuff while trippin
on shrooms or some 2C-I soon, I think it will work pretty well.

I went to base so I could extract with toluene then bubble
with dry HCl and have instant super pure crystals:D I did
alot of it diffrent than I should have, I was in a hurry and
just wanted everything to go quick, plus I was just
expermenting kinda.

As far as pea's and maoi's I haven't seen anything to suggest
that it's an unsafe combination, if you have any links it would be
apperciated, I have researched it, but not as much as I should
have so far. I didn't think it would be to smart at first either but
I haven't seen anything to prove it dangerous like many other
drugs are with maoi's.

thanks for the links, especially the MAPS one, I read the whole thing and found this...

The erowid site mentions 2C-B and mescaline along with DMT as if there are no warnings about (like they wouldn't mention a SSRI with DMT as a drug MAOIs are used to pontentate)
