Yeah I'm gonna start building a tolerance to the venom soon. It's really quite a docile snake as long as you don't approach it from the directly in front of the pits.

Really?

Administering a measured and sterile dosage in a controlled environment, at fractions of what would be the usual levels of a defensive strike;
Then slowly titrating over months or years till a full bite would have little to no effect; excluding biotic.


I don't see the dumb part :shrug:

Doing that causes anaphylaxis, and is pretty life threatening. It's also bad for your liver. I don't know why you'd put something into you like that. But good luck.

It's true that allergies can develop when repeatedly exposed to proteins like you find in snake venom. It is the same way people develop bee sting allergies.

Well, thread de-railed.

I have more research to do before I contemplated beginning to do that.

If I remember correctly, there is a process to make venom safely administerable  for injecting by just a simple few steps.

Yeah, when you work in a garden, or anytime outdoors (which you should try to do at some point) you're gonna get dirty.

It's actually healthy for you.
Whether or not society finds it repulsing, it isn't of much concern to me. :shrug:


I do sanitary things like wash my wands before and after eating when I'm not in the woods.

But when I'm in nature, I see it as ceremony.

Dirt under the nails was me trying to catch some wild food for my snake.
I clean them ever morning when theyre long like that.

I did it sort of on purpose? I let one fang sink in for like half a dose.

I have good medicine to work with the venom. 


Mostly my armpits lymph node is swollen, but the intial bite was like a smoother version of a wasp sting on the wound, and slowly spread up the arm over 30 minutes.

It was shockingly mild honestly.

I'm just drinking tons of water and takin it easy now.

*Edit: on second thought the lymph noes was giving signs before envenomations sometime this morning. I may be getting sick.
It'd be interesting to see how micro-doses of venom affects immune systems.



It almost felt medicinal for me in ways at such a low dose.

Smyptoms faded pretty fast.
Drank lots of water, lymph node is going down.

It's hard to note any psychological effects the venom may have had on me because cannabis clouds things.

There are so many reasons you should be kane stomped just in this thread alone.  Let the fucking snake go asshole.  You have no business keeping venomous snakes, or anything alive for that matter.

You didn't let the snake bite you on purpose you got bit because you are careless and shouldn't even own a venomous reptile, its obvious you have no idea how to handle a venomous snake properly. People like you are the reason why owning venomous snakes is getting criticized and why its already illegal in some places.
