easy as pie, just get some isopropyl rubbing alcohol, mix some with a certain amount of salvia, let sit for a day or two, and then strain and evaporate 1/2 way then add a small amount of foliage to suck up the remaining goodies and finish drying.

If you want 5x, soak like 10g in the isopropyl and add 2g of leaf during evaporation and then you got 2g 5x.

I like acetone because it rips everything out of the salvia quickly and evaporates rapidly. But it also takes a lot of chlorophyll and tar into the final product. I will try iso next time.

I assume the rubbing alcohol evaporates out of that leaving you with just salvia?

I have been using the denatured alcohol method, it works great, just use it instead of iso. Soak a large amount of leaves in a jar, then let it evaporate into a smaller amount of leaves in a dish.

i did, 92.8% ethanol. yields were minimal, thickened the oil with fine flour ala dirt hash.
results: i didn't go much further than with plain well grown leaves, so i'm sticking with them. the greener the better, light green leaves are low grade.
