You know, I never really understood what 'sow'ed means. Is it just another name for germinate? All the seeds that it has said to sow, I've just thrown in a pot with soil and they end up sprouting in four or five days.

yup thats what sowing means , make a hole, throw in seeds and water
germinate on the other hand only describes the process of the seed itself, wether done is soil or in water etc.

I have some Heavenly Blue that I will be starting soon, I'll hopefully move them outside later in the year. I have some greek oregano and catnip plants started as well.
I soon would like to start growing some Lions Tail and Valerian.

AKSE said: Is denatured alcohol ISO? or like Everclear? Sorry, im kind of incompetent right now
Denatured alcohol is a mix of ethanol and methanol.
Ethanol is the exact same thing as alcohol that you would drink, chemical compound is CH3CH2OH.
Methanol is sometimes found in alcohol that wasn't brewed or distilled properly. Methanol will make you go blind or kill you if you drink it, chemical compound is CH3OH.
It's only a difference of 1 carbon in the chain between getting drunk or going blind/dying. Crazy
If you're thinking about drinking denatured alcohol: Don't. You'll get drunk, but you will go blind and/or die.

Denatured only means that it is made undrinkable; it says nothing about the added substances.
The most common denatured alcohol here contains, apart from ethanol: methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, ethyl acetate and denatonium benzoate. But I'm sure you are correct in that there are varieties with added methanol as well.
As a curiosity, a treatment for methanol poisoning is a steady supply of ethanol. The higher concentration and affinity for alcohol/aldehyde dehydrogenase for ethanol over methanol makes most of the methanol to be disposed of unmetabolized. This is a good thing, because the really harmful metabolite of methanol is formic acid, whose formation is hindered.
