Yeah, Hawaiian Baby Woodrose really take off once they get past about 5-6 sets of leaves. Damn things can get about 40 feet long/tall, and that's a whoooooole lot of seed. Not to mention the flowers look cool as hell.

good luck!

at first they don't grow so fast, but like DiMitri said after a few sets of leaves they start to grow really fast. If I'm right it grem more than a meter this month.

neuro: that was the purpose of that pic . I saw the sun shining through the leaf and I just had to make a pic.

Wow, your plant looks very healthy.
I'm gonna plant some seeds too in spring time, so I was wondering if you would like to share some cultivation advise;

*No problem to grow it inside near a window?
*Did you place it outside in the summer?
*How old is your HBWR?
*What kind of soil do you use?

...Sorry for all the questions.

Thank you for the great pics, BTW.

I can give you some of those answers if you'd like:

1.) No problem at all.
2.) I would advise it, get a trellis for them and they'll grow hella fast.
3.) n/a
4.) I used a combination of Miracle-Gro soil (contained peat moss, perlite, ferts.) and rich, black dirt. They seem to love it, I had nearly 100% germination.

2.) No I didn't, I don't have a garden
3.) I think about 6 months now.

Yeah if you're in the northern parts.. southern places where winters are mild and it doesn't frost then it'd make it.

It snows in the south. The ground froze last winter down to several inches deep at one point. Night time temps dipped into the lower teens (F) and even single digits a couple times.

Is that too cold?

When the flower falls off it'll leave the ovary behind it'll swell up with some seeds, like MG does more or less..
