You are making assertions. Not every person can invent something, it's kind of a stupid talking point because inventions have an element of chance
Just because you are a drone doesn't make you no talent. Way to judge someone because of their job, people at the top love punching downward. Let me take McDonalds, many people work there, but they rarely hire managers from inside.
If you put in eighty a week you better make bank. I think a 40 hour work week is enough to demand a decent wage, at least enough to live on where you are based on living expenses in relationship to the national average. A 60 hour week should be enough to make bank.
American productivity has doubled in recent times, while wages have stagnated.
Time is not infinite, there is not more put there always. I don't think you appreciate that enough by how flippant you are with an 80 hour week. 8 to sleep, 8 to work, 8 to keep up on yourself and family. That seems reasonable.
Not every one needs bank either, alot of us would be happy feeling like we contribute, while being compensated in a way that makes us not hate our job.
I worked part time at 16 and made $6.40 an hour after a 20 cent raise. That crap was disgusting, and in retrospect I feel used.
I have full time working friends making $9.00. They work hard, but ya, the 'drone', the base go unappreciated. Working full time and can't even move out, fucking sad. The main one Im thinkbig of has a part time working girl, it's at least 4 living together.
BTW, where I live has a CoL 16% less then average, if I was making $9 an hour in New York City I'd be in a bad stiuation.
If you work hard, you should be compensated with a proper living standard, even a drone should be able to afford a house, a car, and maybe a kid. You're someone that thinks fate deals fair cards, which is like believing in the under the bed monster in my opinion.
And I must say, while being a lazy couch person isn't admirable, I hardly call it grounds to decimate a person as though you know their story and are somehow better then them.
I know I sound like a weak hearted person, but I'm not. I'm not a pacifist, nor do I think that the public sphere can remove all of humanity's collective baggage, let alone individual. It's a tool, too many people want litter al, military only government. The government is a wealth redistribution machine, and all I think is that it can fill some of the gaps capitalism misses when practically implemented.

Rich people should have 99% of their money taken away and given to single moms with nine kids from ten different dudes, and people who sit on their asses and play video games / smoke weed all day.

You're right
It's just annoying to see such ridiculous hyperbole, rather than admitting a gray area exists between murdering the rich and drinking their babies' blood, and a total corporatocracy (word?).

If you want real, unfettered capitalism the go to Somolia Plus, capitalism is a want game based off saving money by cutting corners. You can't sell to people without money, and people without money need to be at least put in a context that allows them to see benaficial actions to better their future standing in life: people at large need to know where the jobs and money are and have the ability to participate

Whaddayamean? Anybody can invent something. Anybody at all. Element of chance? If anything doesn't have an element of chance it is invention.Quote:

What is a decent wage? Does just showing up entitle you to one? A 60 hour a week busboy should not make bank.Quote:

productivity has not increased because of increased effort or skill of the worker. It is quite the opposite.. Productivity has increased because we have made inventions that minimize the worker. Boo hoo.Quote:

Not necessarily.
If he's a socialist who's making less than $30,000 and cheats on his taxes because at $20,000 he would have to go on welfare assistance or move back in with his momma, then I wouldn't consider it hypocrisy. Actually if anything it wouldn't be antagonistic at all to socialism.
In Canada, if your income is $20,000 a year, you aren't expected to pay any taxes.
