broken ultrasonic device someone knows how to repair ?

got one of these but once connected only worked for 3 mins . then went kapputt. someone knows how could be repaired ?

there's no picture, and chances are you don't need any ultrasonic thing for what you're doing unless you have a greenhouse.

these things are 5 $ . and what is really cool is you can put them on a programmer so you dont need to attend to misting...

Impossible to repair. Tell the company you got ripped off by that their products are useless and defective. They'll probably send you another defective one (happened to me).

Doesn't replace misting and fanning though. :smile:

you need to attend to misting unless those things have eyes. You can't just say mist every 3 hours and be fine. :shrug:

Everyone who wanted to cut corners and do things the half assed way has already tried that. Funny thing you don't see too many TEKs around suggesting their use, wonder why...

i disagree , i got another one very similar but of better quality , the casing is metal and came with power supply , it cost me about 30 $ was not that cheap . but this works flawlessly and produces good vapor usable for mushrooms . if you vent that vapor mist with a cheap computer fan you got a perfect humid fog.

it is only this cheapo one that seems crap..

The only place you need to use those is in a room sized green house, and even then you can just spray the floor with water once a day with a hose if it's concrete

The ultrasonic is a little ceramic plate connected to a transducer. The transducer is the expensive bit, and it either works, or it's shit. It's a very precisely made instrument.. In case you wanted to know why it can't be repaired.

Humidifiers just raise humidity, but misting and fanning is done to encourage evaporation off the sub surface. Those little US's do work ok for keeping humidity up in a bin, but they don't help you trigger pins via evaporation. And they bump the air up well beyond 100% if you see visible fog.
