maybe a "Bust Report" submition thing, like the Trip Reports... I hope there wont be as many as trip reports, but it would be a great way to gather info... and allow for "easy access"...

Someone brought up this idea to me through e-mail a couple days ago. How would you guys feel about a forum in the UBB concerning legal issues? Or would you prefer a full section? If a full section, could you provide enough substance to fill section? Later.------------------ Aphex Co-Webmaster of The Shroomery Aphex-Shroom@usa.net

i'd rather have a section... that way all the info will be available right there immediately... and you wont have to ask the same Q's over and over again on the bulletin board.. then agian.. there might not be enough info to justify a whole section being added.. hmm >:P

This idea sounds like a GOOD IDEA . Also, how about a FAQ for when you are getting Screwd by the COps and don't know what to do. Like in an instance where you are getting pulled over by a Cop and you are in Possesion of something. Many people are unaware that if you are being pulled over for a "ROUTINE" traffic stop that the cops don't have the right to search you, and just to keep your mouth shut. Also, if it gets to the point to remain silent that you should, and anything that you tell the cops will just screw you over even more. Ya something that will make people more aware intimes of dire straights.

Here is a suggestion on how not to fuck yourself over more. Get a LAWYER. That is what they are there for. Can't afford one? Well, just how valuable is your freedom, time, and anal virginity? Still too expensive? Then go ahead and take the public defnder and waste the state's money. Most people don't know, but if you face a crime punishable by 6 months or more (depending on your state Constitution) you are entitled to a free P.D. Most of them are really cool guys who almost flunked out of law school from doing too many drugs, so they will understand. Otherwise, have a nice trip. That throwing yourself on the mercy of the court bullshit ain't gonna work.SHADDOW, ------------------ ***"No, No!" said the Queen. "Sentence first--verdict afterwards"**

I think that it would be great. As of now I am facing 3 felony charges ranging from manufaturing to possesion of acid. I just turned 18 after this happened. I would like to know what might be in store for me.

Both section and forum sounds good to me. Although I placed a question concerning the legal issues at 'General Questions' a few days ago and got no answers at all.

We need a legal section to help direct those in trouble, and those who want to stay out of trouble. This forum can be the start off point for doing things like a letter writing campaign to President Clinton to do something historic, such as, issue presidential pardons for all who are or have been jailed for only drug charges - meaning no violent offense committed. How about a establishing validity for a religion that shelters the use of hallucinogenic mushrooms? Activism requires legal counsel.

Call norml tell them your problem and ask them to suggest a lawyer!!!---Gdog

Um, SHADDOW, I think you are a little off. How could a publice defender become a public defender if he/she flunked out of law school? I mean, if thats the case then I am going to enroll in law school and just flunk out and become a lawyer. This topic came up in General Questions (I think) and it is a very interestig topic, indeed. Someone mentioned compiling a list of lawyers from state to state that specialize, or atleast know a little more than most, on ethnogen charges, i.e. mushrooms, etc. I bet a good place to start would be the Native American church since they have had to battle(and win)for their right to use peyote.. i am sure with a bit of research a list of their lawyers could be obtained. Maybe, then, call them get more names, etc... Hoth P.I. (Psilocybin Investigator)
