OK to Store Syringe in refrigerator???
    #1971489 - 10/01/03 11:53 PM (20 years, 6 months ago)

OK I am soo confused now, Can you or CAN'T you store spore syringes in the frig.?????

I have heard you can, but I was just reading the PF Tek and it says and I quote "Don't store it in a refrigerator."

I have been storing mine in the frig. for the past couple of days. WTF!!

When I used to grow I had them in a dark drawer in the fridge for a year or 2 and they were fine.

Store them in a fridge, but not in a freezer. A fridge is ok, really.

A syringe will keep for a good month or 2 in a domestic fridge, best put the syringes in a clean zip-lock bag if the fridge is also used for food.

I would not keep prints in the fridge. Prints need to be kept dry, temp does not matter (within reason). I keep mine in a ziplock bags in a little card index with a bag of silica gel.

I guess it depends if the water is clear of food. A syringe I made up got some grain juice into the water I was sterilising in the PC. I left the syringe for a week or 2, when I came to innoc. it was filled with mycelium threads, so I has liquid mycelium instead of spores, hehe, what a total disaster
