Not every city has your fancy canadian communist infrastructure...
My uncle just picked one up, says it's fassst. His only complaint was that it was a little too sporty, wasn't quite as comfortable as a lexus.

No I'd rather save the money to travel.  I'm moving right downtown next weekend and I really don't need a vehicle.  It was fun but I can't justify having it.

You're gonna drive that car to south east Asia / South America / Cuba / Africa?

Vehicles are a huge waste of money if you live in the city.  $150/month for parking + $150/month for insurance before even touching the road with it.  Then you have to pay for gas, maintenance, and the vehicle itself.  I can easily save $4000/year not owning a car.

My insurance last year cost me 2400 CAD, liability only. Pretty much half of the value of the bike (gixxer 11).

Saving for the third phase smaller Tesla that'll be in the 30k range. Not sure if I want to do a downpayment on a small house or that first...either way, plan to have Tesla + a house that can independently power the Tesla in the next five years. Would cut bills down significantly plus make me feel extremely mobile. Mountains and beach are both within a Tesla's single charge range from where I live.
