I'm not sure if they have different tanks for different depths, I only SCUBA 1-3 times a year, and deepest I've been is around 120' at which I was breathing the same. I'm pretty sure the regulator regulates the pressure of the O2 coming out of the tank.

I'll have to ask my buddy that dives a lot more frequently than me to give you a proper answer.

Japan, so far.

Coolest architecture, coolest landscapes, coolest culture (IMO),

Best food I've ever eaten in my life. Best customer service I've ever experienced at multiple places.

People are just really nice and friendly for the most part. Hospitality was through the roof.

I bet. Japan is one of those places I'd love to visit excluding Tokyo, but I guess that's part of the experience.

Every person I've spoken to that's traveled and/or lived there has had nothing but great things to say about it.

If I was going to Asia though, I'd much rather get to know Vietnam and Singapore before Japan.

I would sky dive, hang glide or climb mt Everest before you would get me to scuba dive. I'm sure I would have a panic attack, and I can't even go to the bottom of a pool without getting bad headaches.

I don't believe so, but I could be completely wrong.

Mt. Whitney is definitely on the top of my list of awesome places I've been.

San Diego would rank 2nd.

Man...I really need to get out and see more of this planet. I've only been around the west coast of the US.




I think I've spoke of this story/place a few times here over the years...but one of the single coolest places I've been is at the top of Half Dome (Yosemite) during sun rise...and chilling & catching some rest in a tiny hole/space that actually over hangs the face of Half Dome, with small openings in the granite where I could look out and almost a mile down to the valley floor below...while stoned as shit.

And the Symbiosis Eclipse Gathering was a rather "cool" place, and time, to be. It took place at Pyramid Lake in Nevada, the location was lined up with the path of the eclipse. One of the more epic and magical spaces/moments I've been part of & witnessed.

Cool fact: in the Southern Hemisphere, tittie twisters are done in the opposite direction they are in the northern hemisphere.

My favorite city in the world.  It's almost impossible to eat a bad meal there, there are stunning women strutting around everywhere you look, and the city is built right around a thousand years of artistic, religious, and cultural history.  Not to mention the amazing Amalfi coast is only an hour train ride from the city.

- El Zonte, El Salvador... A little surf paradise with a beach break and point break.  My schedule there for two weeks was wake up at 6:30, surf, do yoga, lounge and eat burritos all day, surf, cook a fresh fish over an open fire, and drink and smoke into the early hours.

Some other of my favorites are Sri Lanka, Mongolia, the California Redwoods, Charleston SC and Savannah GA, the Florida Keys, Hawai'i, the Croatian islands, Bogota, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Istanbul, the Caribbean, and the Great Barrier Reef

So much to see in the world, so little time.  Gotta get out there.
