Re: Obamacare's Latest Waiver - Fixing the Politics for Democrats Facing Tough Election Prospects... [Re: myc_check1212]

Obamacare is great.

My wife hasn't had insurance in 5 years. Now we are both covered with a decent plan ($1500 out-of-pocket maximum per year).

My parents paid $500/month for private. Now they get a $900 subsidy (so ya - they now have a $930 plan which is out of this world). They pay $30 a month for it - and the taxpayers foot the rest of the bill! The insurance company collects $900 a month. What a deal for them!

The trick is you need to be poor (on your tax return). :smirk:

That's right.  It's great if want to be a welfare case.  You must be so proud.

What is better than that?  So noble.

Let me guess. I get a small subsidy each month and it's horrible. But when you're a multi-millionaire and use every tax loophole in existence - reducing your taxes by, say $50,000, that is perfectly ok. Gotcha.

What loophole?  If it's in the tax code blame the politicians.  They already pay most of the freight as it is and the bottom 50% doesn't pay shit.

If $1500 is the most out of pocket you will pay in a year it doesn't sound like a small subsidy to me.

Apparently the shit amount you would have to pay legally is too much for you and you cheat on your taxes.  You must be so proud.  You are a great American, a real contributor and an all around upstanding and honest citizen.  Hold your head high, you are really getting somewhere.

WE DON'T WANT IT.  Get that through your skull

*You don't want it.
It's amusing you say you speak for the majority of the US citizens, when you clearly do not. Look at the results of the last election. The healthcare law was a large election issue.

Our elections are largely the result of a vast group of ignorant voters. Although it's not like either candidate was good

Not many can defraud both the taxman and the welfare board.  That is a real accomplishment.  Reminds me of this guy
