because im not naive enough to think the police will be able to arrive in time.

also, illegalization will only cause black market to grow, criminals will still have guns, but the LAW ABIDING CITIZENS will of course follow the law and not have weapons.

yeah so what do other people do, live in paranoia because they dont have a gun? guns dont solve problems, they create them.

weapon legalization is the worst idea to solve the problem of security or violence.

yeah your right...

but that paranoia isnt something we can just erase.

if im ever victimized in a situation, id rather have a weapon, and not be saying "oh well at least im not living in paranoia"

The gun debate is totally subjective. Theres little chance of ever changing a persons mind on this issue. All I know is that I am a gun owner and always will be. If you prefer not to own a weapon for thats entirely up to you. Just a fair warning though...don't break into my home while I am there!

also, the fact that we own guns is that if our country is ever under attack, it will be impossible to rule our people because guerilla warfare would be a real mother fucker for any army invading.

countries other than the u.s dont generally "invade" states anymore so you can be safe.

why are you living under a state that cannot provide you the basic security? if your living in constant fear of someone breaking into your house, you should question the reason you live under its authority. after all, didnt people give up their rights to a common sovereign, in order for security?

i dont really live in fear, I do however live out in the country, and the police cant arrive in time to save my ass should something happen.
