You don't have to go DR during a migraine, but if you are prescribed these meds, then you must have seen someone.  I was just making sure you didn't buy them online and just decided on some random dosage :wink:

But they should have told you about being careful with dosages.  If mushrooms don't cause GI discomfort, I would eat them (if they don't taste horrid to you yet :wink:  so that the effects last longer and it is a much more sustained, or even put them in capsules for convenience.  Take a .25g dose in the evening INSTEAD of the topamax, then go from there on if you should take more or less.  It may be a bit much, but start on a weekend.  Taking another dose the next morning (with food) and then, see how you feel later on in the day.  If you feel a headache coming on, make some tea, or if you have time, then eat them again.  You will then know how long they keep them from occurring and how much you will need.  I would suggest NOT taking them along-side the topamx though, use them in-place-of.  And I know you said you think .25 would be too much, but when you stop taking the topamax, there is a high probability that it will cause rebound migraine.  I would rather take a little too much than to have too much of a migraine...

and yeah, vomiting (usually every 15 minutes, in waves) is typical for migraines.  Let me tell you, the first few waves rank right up there with food poisoning in the forcefulness in vomiting... :frown:

Haha no I have insurance and shit. I've never had a problem with the taste of mushrooms btw...in fact I fuck with my guy friends and call them pussies when they bitch about the taste lol

Thanks for all the advice man, I'm definitely going to start experimenting with all this starting this weekend :thumbup:
