I've heard some of it and was unimpressed.  He's been involved in a lot of terrible, half-assed tracks over the past 7-8 years, which loses you the privilege of having fringe listeners waste their time on the stuff you do put work into.  More power to him if he's re-energized his core fan group.

I love Eminem, he's got a lot of skills, but to say there's
no one comparable... I don't know.

Like the OP said, there are a lot of unique qualities about
his style that really register with a lot of people,
but he's not the only one.

Top 5, for sure.
But music is such a broad thing that to generalize
something like the best ever, is a little over the top.

I don't necessarily think he's the best rapper ever, but I do think this is the best rap album ever.

I only like maybe 5 or 6 rappers that are making music now, so imo, hes definitely in the top 5 lol.

honorable mentions for 'other' top rappers are :

tupac, biggie, rakim, big L, KRS-one, nas, Jay-z, drake(idc what anyone says, you wouldnt be able to make his pussy voice work like he does, which is why he is right now on top), method man (& with wu-tang), and kendrick lamar is already resonating with me nowadays to boot...
