Then don't eat at restaurants that don't list nutrition information,  there are already ones out there that do, or bring a dambed calculator and figure it out yourself.

asking the government to coerce restaurants with threat of a chain of events ultimately ending with violence and force if necessary because you want them to do the math for you is a real dick move.

Start a movement voluntarily boycotting restaurant s that don't and share information about ones that do if its so important,  just don't advocate using government force over petty whiny things like that, its super uncool.

The increase in cost is relatively minor.

trying to use government to force your petty preferences is both lazy and immoral.

Are you willing to go to a restaurant with a gang of armed individuals and forcefully shut them down if they don't list caloric information? Would you imprison the in a cage the owner if he resists?  Would you shoot him if he uses force in self defense to protect himself and his property?

If that seems ridiculous to you and something you would not do, know that that is exactly what you would be asking the government to do on your behalf if you advocate manditory nutrition information.

People need to realize that when you ask the government to do things like that, you are asking them to point guns at people, which is immoral, cowardly, lazy, and all around uncool.

the moral thing to do is to convince restaurants to voluntarily list nutrition information by making a case that it is in their own best interest.  If it turns out that thrre is not enough interest in such a thing from customers and the restaurant decides to turn down your case than tough cookies, you shouldn't try to hire armed government goons to force your own way on other people, its not right.

Here in the states some places might do that as a marketing thing, and those places are going to be chains of some nature.

What about mom and pops? Do you really need to know the Nutrional Content of a street taco if you wanted to eat one?

Yes it is.  I'm not worried about it because we have chats all the time about that kinda stuff.  Sometimes it takes me half an hour but she always ends up with another side of the story when we're done.  Where she goes from there is up to her.
