LASIK and tripping

I had lasik eye surgery about a year and a half ago.  I haven't tried tripping since but I was wondering if anyone had had Lasik and tripped.  Does it change anything?  I don't think it would but who knows these days.  My eyes have become the weirdest thing.

Not sure about eye surgery, but i recently got contacts and have been wondering the same thing

what do you mean wierd?

ive never had lasik although ive considered it, im goingto stick with contacts, i dont need it really anyways, some people really need it, but once i get my special professional colored contacts like the ones you see in my profile picture here, i will love putting them in, obvously not all the time, but half the time. and a good brand to avoid damage.

I wore glasses since I was 4 years old and got LASIK just before my 30th birthday.  In the past five years I have noticed my vision changing a lot and rapidly.  I haven't been using drugs in this period of time other than occasional 420.  My vision now is just very weird, I feel like my two eyes do not match, one eye has become the stronger more dominant eye and often I read things misbalanced now.  It can at times be really easy to read things and other times it can be really hard.  There is like times when my eyes literally 'shut down' and I am probably going to have to start relying on reading glasses or something to get through these periods.  It just all is really weird for me to think about, there was times in the last few years where it felt like my 'eyes' were 'stolen'.  Like my eye would suddenly tingle and my vision would go all blurry and then it would come back and the vision would be different.  This happened multiple times and always seemed to represent some type of violent/angry entity.  At times it feels like my eyes are 'recording' things for someone else, or like someone else can see the world through my eyes and is spying on me.  I don't know, my therapist says that isn't actually happening but it is hard to shake the feeling of it.  It took a long time to get 'back to normal' after the 'eye stealing' incidents, I kept seeing derogatory or standout words/statements (in things like reading text, certain words would standout, or shopping then certain letters would form words, etc) that seemed to represent something angry or negative.

I primarily got LASIK to get rid of my glasses, but I also got LASIK because of the off chance it might 'break' any type of 'connection' that was happening to some type of negative or spy entity.

im sorry to hear that, if it makes you feel better, i feel like i fucked my ears up and my voice, and the connection between the two, with vibrations/loudness from listening to too much loud music nearly everyday with my sub system, so now i feel like i miss some noises when i talk/people talk, and sometimes people are loud and my ears are sensitive and fucks with my perception in a strange way, it messes with how loud i feel compared to how loud i am, its very strange. i should probably go to a ear doctor LOL
i just dont want to walk around with ear buds that make me look well, deaf.

Yeah I am primarily annoyed because I am trying to be employed in the design industry and visual everything is everywhere all the time and in the meantime I feel like I'm going blind.  I know I'm exaggerating, I by far am not blind, just the whole 'spying' or 'negative entity word showing' thing still happens occasionally in annoying ways.  That type of technology/communication could be so powerful, I think of people and third eyes and illuminati type stuff, and then it's represented so negatively in the way my visions have appeared.  I don't like looking at a page of words and only seeing the word 'whore' and having a hard time reading the rest for example.

I once asked a blind man what he saw when he tripped. he replied "what you don't!" and laughed.

the eye isn't affected during trips, merely the information being sent from your eye is being distorted. So I imagine that with better eyesight comes better information to the brain. Maybe less questionable information to be distorted.
I have always had perfect eyesight, and even during some extremely heavy trips I have never fully hallucinated something that wasn't already something. Meaning, a tree didn't form in the middle of a field where there was no tree; but a tree can make faces or shit like that.

so i guess what I am saying is that tripping on improved vision means you are distorting a more accurate picture of reality... FWIW, i think some things you liked would be lost while others you didn't know about are gained. but overall, a very slight change.
Kind of like playing Telephone with the starting person having a cleft lip as opposed to the starting person having impeccable elocution. end result will probably be really similar.

Maybe go to a few eye doctors for a second opinion, should be fine tripping. Worse comes to worse lighten the dosage. Also it sounds like you could reprocess some thoughts with a proper therapist and get that paranoia out. It's similar to my physical  injuries, I'll feel them and then think I'll never be able to do anything or go to the gym but in actuality I'm just hard on myself and if I removed all of these negative thoughts things would physically and mentally be better. I myself am hypochondriac. I can what feels like hallucinate in a way pain and other retarded things with just over thinking and being negative. It's a terrible pattern to be stuck in which is why I say a therapist a good one will help reprocessing maybe with CBT or another form of therapy.  Again it's worth a look if it's everyday.

Oh ya I get regular therapy with my therapist, I just have a lot to cover and sometimes topics like this get ignored even though they are very important to me.  I can't talk about tripping with my therapist, they (her and my doctor) are actively against drugs (except what they want to prescribe me) and would be very angry with me.

Well it could be wise to avoid drugs or keep them very limited till you deal with it. Marijuana is terrible for some people In this area of of circling stress/paranoia. Well then if you eventually come around to it it's good. At times underlying issues can stress other issues more, like PTSD which can cause symptoms of many conditions, it's best to address the memories and events of the PTSD first.

I also have a therapist and know what you mean about having a lot of topics

yeah the truth is i'll probably go my entire life without being able to do drugs again, which is bittersweet because i may be able to build a fantastic lifestyle with lots of positive things and not be dead or broke on the street but all the same i enjoyed the physical and spiritual effects of the drugs and would like to encourage spiritual trips in the privacy of my own home.
