Emery on Parliment Hill today
    #1950733 -

I've read some mixed opinions about Marc Emery; there appears to be a growing trend of people who just don't like the guy.  Either way, he is one of the more active key players in the movement right now, & he definetly seems to be doing what he can to help educate the general public about this..this, "marijuana."

Anyway, I'll be there today to see what hes got planned for the nations capital..it should be interesting.  I'll be bringing a camera and can post some pictures later tonight.

Hopefully the rain dies down before it begins. Anyone else going to be there?

Well, here are a couple pictures.

Not a bad turnout at all. A good ammount of pot was burned here today.

Emery seems like a pretty good public speaker.  Though it was pretty obvious he has recited the same speech more than a few times before.  He definetly had his thoughts organized, which I find pretty impressive.

Especially after smoking on something like this:

There are a few other pictures if anyones interested.

All in all, I thought it was a pretty interesting afternoon.  There was so much variety in the crowd; young people, old people, business people, preppies, hippies, and others.  At 4:20 everybody sang Oh Canada while sparking up their, bongs, pipes, blunts, or whatever they prepared themselves with..and of course, that ridiculously large spliff.

That thing must have got 80+ people stoned.
