dessicant without fan drying

is this possible?? just stick the mushies in sealed container with some calcium cholride in there and they will dry out?

It is possible, but not recommended since the desiccant gets spent very fast this way.

Dry ice is not an desiccant.

I never could seem to get them completely cracker dry that way.  They'll dry enough to keep for a while, but not enough to be ideal for sure.

That's just my experience, if Anno says it'll work, it'll work.  :smile:

I?m saying: it?s much better to dry them with a fan first, THEN use desiccant to end dry them.

Fannin is real important. Do you have a room with a fan in it on the ceiling? Put your shroomies on top of your dresser or what have you and run the fan all day.
